About Common Hope
Common Hope promotes hope and opportunity in Guatemala, partnering with children, families, and communities who want to participate in a process of development to improve their lives through education, health care, and housing.
International Voluntary Service Activities
Volunteers are one of the key reasons that Common Hope works so well. They offer many vital resources we need to continue our work. Volunteers can go out on a vision team as part of a group for 8 or 10 days, or independently as a short-term or long-term volunteer for up to 2 years. In 2007 we sent out 200 vision teamers and over 50 short and long term volunteers. We need volunteers on an on-going basis.
