About Convoy of Hope, Inc.
Since 1994 Convoy of Hope has assisted nearly 20 million people in the United States and around the globe with food, clothing, medical aid, and other needed resources through outreaches and disaster response. The mission of Convoy of Hope is to transform entire communities with compassion, one life at a time.
International Voluntary Service Activities
Individual volunteers, church teams and businesses are able to get hands-on experience in meeting the needs of others through an outreach, a disaster, a building project, a feeding program. The needs and opportunities are endless.
Convoy of Hope will welcome teams from churches and businesses for both domestic and international projects. We ask that leaders contact our office to inquire how your church can send a team.
Convoy of Hope has deployed tens of thousands of volunteers primarily for domestic outreaches and disaster response. However, the international mobilization is relatively new but growing quickly. Below are approximate numbers of volunteers mobilized over a 12 month period. In addition, Convoy of Hope has a sizable network of church partners in many countries around the world. We work with indigenous leaders to mobilize their members for relief and development projects. The statistics of volunteers mobilized in partnership is now being kept and will raise our volunteer totals significantly.
Number of Volunteers deployed over past 12 months: 3,000 Expected Number to deploy in 2007: 2,500 Current opportunities to volunteer: 75 Individuals but COH can accommodate church and business teams as well.
Internship Program
The Convoy of Hope Internship exists to facilitate passionate individuals on their journey to carry hope to the world's poor and hurting through the setting, resources, and mission's opportunities of Convoy of Hope.
