About Medical Missions for Children
Medical Missions for Children operates the Global Telemedicine
and Teaching Network. It's mission is to use volunteer physicians
at 27 tier one mentoring hospitals to provide diagnostic and treatment
support to underserved hospitals via video conferencing. In addition
MMC operates a broadcast TV station delivering medical education
to underserved hospitals.
International Voluntary Service Activities
In 2004 Medical Missions for Children will use approximately
1800 volunteers and in 2005 about 2700.
