About New Frontiers Health Force
New Frontiers Health Force is a non-profit organization that provides primary medical care in Third World countries through short-term clinics and disaster relief teams.
Our teams work in partnership with many NGO's and national organizations to bring medical care where this is a tremendous need. The medical care and all pharmaceuticals and supplies are provided to the people free of charge.
It is our belief that through quality medical care we can not only give the gift of life but also hope.
International Voluntary Service Activities
Since October of 2004, New Frontiers has sent volunteer teams to Gonaives, Haiti in the aftermath of Hurricane Jeanne, to Morocco to do HIV testing in an orphanage, to Banda Aceh, Indonesia to work with the Tsunami victims, to Nigeria, Honduras, and Malawi for short-term medical outreaches.
We have our headquarters in Clearwater, Florida where volunteers work year-round preparing teams to respond to disasters and for our planned medical outreaches.
We currently have planned outreaches in 2006 to Liberia, Nigeria, Malawi, Trinidad and launching our new domestic arm of New Frontiers Health Force. This is a mobile medical unit called Project Hope: NFHF Mobile One which will serve people in our local communities who are unable to get medical care.
Over the next year will need to significantly increase our volunteer base from the current 75-100 to 150
