About World Witness
World Witness is the Foreign Mission Board of The Associate
Reformed Presbyterian Church founded in 1859 in the evangelical
and reformed tradition. World Witness is a registered PVO with
USAID. In addition to faith based programs in 7 countries, World
Witness is the founder and sponsor of a hospital in Sahiwal, Pakistan
and a Training Center for addiction and prevention workers in
Moscow. World Witness programs of humanitarian assistance are
without regard to race, creed and nationality. These programs
meet human need with the best of USA practice and state of the
art equipment.
International Voluntary Service Activities
Pakistan - the MLPS Hostel for girls (and educational and residential program for girls from the down trodden Christian caste in Pakistan. Pakistan - the Nancy Fulwood Hospital in Sahiwal (also known locally as the Christian Hospital, Sahiwal). A 160 bed general hospital and nursing school (90 students) Russia - a training program for health professionals (counselors, etc) dealing with alcohol and drug addiction in the former Soviet Union. The main office is based in Moscow but people are trained from all countries of the former Soviet Bloc.

The representative volunteer is an evangelical Christian with professional training in medicine or education. Generally, some 5 - 10 years of work experience. Most of our workers are mature adults (30 yrs +). Administrators are being sought for the OPORA addiction work in Russia.
